Turmeric Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Turmeric Creamy Pumpkin Soup (2 servings)
  • 1/4 of an onion
  • 2 stalks of king oyster mushrooms
  • 1 round pumpkin (pureed)
  • 2 stalks of baby corn
  • Italian herbs, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 5g white pepper
  • 35g President-brand unsalted butter
  • 30g plain flour
  • Fresh cream, to taste
  • 350ml vegetable stock
  • Turmeric powder, to taste

<To get ready, steam chopped pumpkin. Puree it when cooked. Add some unsalted butter and steam another 10 minutes.>
Method. Step 1: Melt butter in pan and stir in plain flour. Remove for use later.

Method. Step 2: Place steamed pumpkin puree in the food processor.

Method. Step 3: Add stock and turmeric powder, and blend evenly.

Method: Step 4: Get another pan, add butter, onion, baby corn and king oyster mushroom. Stir fry at low heat.

Method. Step 5: Pour in blended pumpkin soup, and add more stock if necessary.

Method. Step 6: Drizzle fresh cream before serving to enhance taste. Your turmeric creamy pumpkin soup is done!
